Find out more about the 7th World Journalism Education Congress (WJEC): “Is it time to reboot journalism education?”

The 2025 World Journalism Education Congress will take place from August 8–10, 2025 in San Francisco, California and will explore the theme: “Is it time to reboot journalism education?”

There will be plenary sessions, paper presentations, panel discussions and syndicates, all with the aim of encouraging global educators, researchers and media professionals to discuss the future of journalism education.

This year, the congress will align with the annual conference of the AEJMC (Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication), maximising opportunities for collaboration and cross-disciplinary engagement.
