Normal research funding practice requires that the money is paid into a research fund at your university, and this would certainly be required if you are seeking to use the money to buy out teaching time or to employ a research assistant or translator as your institution will need to arrange employment. However, it might be possible to pay travel fares directly if this offers needed flexibility. Either way, you will need to consider this fully in your application.
Applications should be sent to: AJEBursary2022@gmail.com
DEADLINE: May 31, 2022 at 4.30pm
*Only universities who have previously been fully subscribed members of the AJE (up to March 2020) will be eligible to be awarded the bursary.
**Successful applicants failing to comply with the above regulations will be required to repay the grant in full.
