Kent seeks director of research

The Centre for Journalism is seeking to appoint a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Journalism and Director of Research on a full time and ongoing basis.

Now the dedicated team responsible for the Centre’s award-winning degrees seeks an ambitious Director of Research and Lecturer in Politics who can enhance our research profile and lead our preparations for REF 2020.

The successful candidate will hold a PhD in a relevant subject area e.g. Politics or History and will have successfully supervised PhD candidates.

You will have relevant teaching experience at degree level together with teaching skills appropriate to higher education at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills appropriate for leadership, teaching and representational duties are essential for this role
