You are invited to join the BBC World Service event between 29 April – 1 May 2024
for The BBC World Service Presents…
Three days highlighting the urgent and courageous work of journalists, analysing the state of media freedom globally and considering the future relationship of news and technology. 2024 is a crucial year for our complex and evolving media landscape – join the best of the BBC World Service with exclusive podcast and documentary premieres, live broadcasts, high-profile keynote industry speakers from around the world, and thought-provoking panel discussions including Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe and Stella Assange in conversation.
Each day is made up of two sessions. You are invited to attend any sessions that interest you.
Monday 29 April: A Global Public Service
Courage, persistence and empathy – what it takes to serve audiences living through conflict and isolation
