We are investing in our academic provision and are seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Digital Journalism to join our team of experienced academic staff. We are looking for an inspiring and enthusiastic academic to make a key contribution to our academic provision through teaching, research and enterprise.
You will be able to teach and contribute to our research and enterprise portfolio in the subject specialism.
The successful applicant will possess a first degree and a postgraduate qualification and be able to demonstrate HE level teaching experience, and/or a Higher Education Academy (HEA) accredited teaching qualifications and/or membership of the HEA.
You will join the computing academic team based at our Headingley Campus and contribute to the delivery of our growing undergraduate and postgraduate provision. There are extensive and excellent specialist facilities located in a setting which offers many additional amenities for our students and staff.
The School of Computing, Creative Technologies and Engineering at Leeds Beckett University brings together our accredited Computing, Business Information Technology and Computer Forensics and Security provision with courses in the creative technologies (Broadcast Media Technology Computer Animation and Visual Effects, Computer Games, Creative Media Technology and Digital Journalism). We are developing new courses in engineering, Electronic and Electrical Engineering and Food Engineering commenced in 2015, and further developments are scheduled for 2015/6.
