AJE Winter Conference 2018: Introducing our keynote speaker Maeve McClenaghan

Maeve McClenaghan is part of the Bureau of Investigative Journalism’s Bureau Local team – a project that works to support local reporters across the UK to delve deeper into investigations.

Maeve will explain how and why the project started, how collaborations works and will talk through some of the work produced in the last six months, including work she led into cuts to domestic violence refuges.

The Bureau Local recently won the Innovation prize at the British Journalism Awards and Maeve has been a finalist for both the Paul Foot award and the Orwell Prize for Exposing Britain’s Social Evils. She produces a podcast on investigative journalism called The Tip Off.

The AJE Winter conference, will take place on January 19, 2018 (9.30am-4.00pm) at City, University of London, Northampton Square, London.
