Lecturer in Broadcast Media Production University of Westminster Full Time. Closes: 30th January 2022

You will be responsible for teaching and leading TV production and broadcast news modules at undergraduate and postgraduate level on the BJTC-accredited MA Multimedia Journalism and BA Digital Media courses. 

Students take part in a series of assessed ‘newsdays’, where they are required to output a TV news bulletin programme ‘as live’.  

This is a highly collaborative role which involves working side by side with academics and technical instructors in the TV news studio. The ideal candidate will have recent experience of working on a live TV news show and have a knowledge of digital workflows and modern media production methods.

The MA Multimedia Journalism is seeking an External Examiner with relevant teaching and/or professional experience to cover modules in the Print and Online Journalism pathway.

The modules are: Multimedia Journalism Skills, Issues in Journalism, News and Feature Writing, Digital Journalism Production, Magazine Project, Investigative Journalism and Final Projects.
